"There is no substitute for accurate knowledge. Know yourself, know your business, know your men." - Lee Iacocca

There is no shortcut to a great leader and the traits possessed. Accurate knowledge comes from a higher level of integrity and honesty from the leadership team all the way down to the cleaning staff. Working environments need to run on higher levels of honesty or decisions will be based on lies. Then your knowledge becomes lies. A good leader is the compass and knows what direction to go and how to get there. But a good leader knows the weak link and can make those tough decisions within the ranks to stay on target. Know your own level of integrity and honesty, know your business product and clients, and know your men's level of integrity and honesty. Then you know your knowledge is worth something to others.
